  • I love this woman and I seriously doubt pb would complain :) Give love freely, it cost nothing and we all carry it in abundance.
  • I'm glad you all enjoyed it! Edina that it beautiful, please feel free to give me one of your long distance hugs any time :)
  • What a sweet and uplifting story..thanks for posting this, Paris. Also, Edina, I really enjoyed reading your comments.
  • Consider it done, long distance of course, of course, the best way to get a hug like that is to give it, remember 10 Mississippis. It goes like this one Mississippi, two Mississippi, three Mississippi, and so on to 10. Most people get ansy at about 3, or 4, sometimes it helps if you explain it to them. And, of course, all kinds of sensations arise. It's important to remember this is compassion, some people misunderstand the sensations, they are very healing, whether a person understands them, or not. Try it Jed, you look like the kind of person who can do this very well. Let me know how it goes. big smile :D, e
  • Thanks for posting Paris.
Edina, I love everything you said! You're awesome. I wish I knew you, I could use a hug like that now and again.
  • Hey Paris, have you ever received, or given a hug like this? This is one of my specialities. It would be wonderful to sit and hug in this way all day long. My sister claims she can feel me hug her this way long distance. When she struggles, I sense it and then in my heart I wrap my love around her and imagine myself hugging her. My nieces call it the "Dinny" hug. And they all insist on getting this hug first thing when they see me. Needless to say I love this video.

I've always defined compassion as encompassing love. There is a Latin phrase, El amor de Dios te envuelve, the love of God enfolds you. This is what this video reminds me of.

I especially liked how they likened Ammichi with healing the wounded heart of humanity. And she says compassion would solve 80% of the worlds problems. David Hawkins of Veritas who developed the 1 to 1000 frequency field model as a map of consciousness says the same thing, compassion is at the 350 level on the field. By his research, humanity is just about 200.

Anyway, when I was watching this video, I kept thinking of how we could keep this in mind when it comes time to comfort people. Consider the escalating emotions of anger, fear, frustration and hopelessness that the fishermen and other people in the gulf coast area expressed in the video Pan posted, and this consider this one. This one answers the call of the other.

When I hug in this way, I disappear, I step aside and allow love to flow through me to use me for its grace, so when I do this, I don't really feel it is me, it is as if Love loves through me. It is very energising. I'm careful to hug in this way only when people want it, otherwise, I feel I would not be respecting their free will, and sovereignty, which is something I value.

It is written somewhere, that there is no large or small in the kingdom of God, that all is one and equal. I think this is where the unconditional acceptance comes from, this doesn't include agreement, or condoning just simply accepting, anyway, lovely video, thanks for sharing it.

Now, imagine that you are the center of life and life loves you beyond any measure of your imagination, because, of course, life does love you in this way. Feel the warmth of that love in your heart space, it will really feel physically warm, feel it radiate from your heart until it completely encompasses you and accept that you are beautifully loved. Sit in the stillness of this hug, I always say 10 Mississippis, I sometimes call this hug a 10 Mississippi luv hug :) Now, when you're done, go find someone to share a 10 Mississippi luv hug with, then let me know how it went. :)
