It probably won't happen, but if it does, then California + CCP = hostile nation and we will treat them accordingly. After all, Newsom would be giving Communist China a foothold on the continental US.

I just read yesterday (sorry can't remember where) that California plans to secede from the union once the election falls into confusion, and turn right around and invite the Chinese Communist Party in to "defend their independence from the US" as california's new ally. To do such a thing would be huge since the US has several of its greatest military bases in California, so I am not sure how solid this threat is but it makes sense in light of recent actions.
Those of us in the countryside may have to stage a partisan fighting withdrawal inland as CCP "californians" push to take the entire west coast.
As an ex Californian myself, if I have to defend the country against Chinese and Californians I will shoot the fucking californian first . . . .every time.
