It's grandstanding for their constituents. From what I've read, Trump has the power to override their objections, and they know it. It's just fodder for the MSM.

This is just a stalling tactic. The Dims are hoping to take back the House in November, which is fast approaching. If they do, they will try to impeach Trump. I would say that BIG (positive) things are going to happen before that will be allowed to happen. People can be detained with just probable cause, in order for the situation to be further investigated. I think there is more than plenty of probable cause to detain all the top actors. At what about the Patriot Act, even the hint of terrorism will send you to Gitmo indefinitely.
It is sickening how the criminals make out like they are "protecting" the US by stalling and redacting, when in most-likely fact (based on what's already come out) they are covering their criminal derrieres. Trump did a recent EO to put up safeguards to prevent this from happening again.
Hold steady. The Domestic and Foreign Enemies are not going to win this one.
