food for thought

when planet x blocks the sun for three days, does that mean time will stop? also if there is still 24 hours in a day after the pole shifts, would the first 24 hours would it be day one aps (after pole shift), as aposed to AD? also what if planet x, stops the earth from rotating, this would also mess up timing. just food for thought.

I have solar powered calculators but never heard of a solar powered watch.

I have a solar powered watch. It charges even on overcast days, so hopefully it will be good in the after time.

  • I don't think time will stop.  Some of us will keep on living.  Our respirations will continue however many per minute, our heartbeats will continue their rhythm.  I don't think seeing the sun constitutes time, just a counting of time.  Time continues when half the Earth faces away from the sun.

I wonder if a wind-up clock would continue functioning during the passage, as a way to keep somewhat accurate time?
