  • Don't worry the price of everything goes up when gas goes up and the economy of Florida will be almost destroyed if Irma hits FL.

Also, note, if Irma hits Florida dead on, and wipes out the citrus crop, the price of OJ is going to go up.

  • Up to 2.499 for regular, 2.699 for mid-grade, and 3.o99 for premium.

  • Jim thats the way things always happen if there is a problem in one place everybody suffers. With all the fraud that goes on you would think people would be waking up in large numbers.

Byron, we get our gas from the refinery in Wyoming.  You probably do there in Idaho, also.  We are not dependent on any Houston Oil Refineries, but our oil prices have risen also, but not by as much as those on the East Coast.  Of course , my brother who lives in northern California near the Klamath River, in a little town called Happy Camp, really pays through the nose for gas.....groceries too.  The nearest town for him is in Oregon, about 40 miles to the north.  Did you know that you cannot pump your own gas in Oregon?  Yep, everything is full service with a gas attendant coming out and pumping your gas for you.  Their Governor says that it makes a lot of minimum wage jobs.  You can tip them if you want, or if they're good looking and flirty......hah!  Anyway, the Oregon gas is about 50 cents a gallon CHEAPER than Cally, mainly because of taxes.

I checked the cheap gas site and costco  and walmart are at $2.53  that means it is higher at other places.

  • This is insane!

  • I'm sure everyone went and filled there gas tanks causing a quicker shortage, well I did gas was 2.09 when I filled up! It was up to 2.39 two days ago!

  • Maybe that is their plan and cripple everything Trump has done to make us energy independent. Taking out the refineries was a great idea and the only one that would work. As we already know, when the price goes up it seldom comes down when it should.

And, like night follows day, gas price going up means everything else will go up because transportation costs in getting goods to market will be factored in.  Maybe this is how they are going to implode the economy.
