  • Good advice. Being under the radar is very important. Although there is a risk for one family's safety, I like the show.

  • Prepper....someone who is close to crossing the threshold of hoarder.... :)

  • well Jim, the limit is how much of that beer you drink in one sitting. Seriously, its not the food, its the attitude. If you are stockpiling supplies (all kinds of neccesities) for some yet to be seen calamity, then you are a prepper. If you are collecting food and supplies for a giant BBQ to finally get rid of that huge stack of Beer cases, then you're most likely a benevolent soul looking to go out with a bang.

  • Remember EVERYTHING that you put on the net stays on the net and is traceable by a simple google search.    So if you do not want anyone to know you are a prepper, don't say so.  But I do have a question, just what constatutes a prepper?  A well stocked pantry?  Too many cans of beens?  Too much beer?  I use to work for a brewery and always had 10 or 12 cases of beer in the basement for company and parties.  We use to get 2 cases a month free as part of our contract agreement so it added up.   So was I a prepper then ?  Is there a limit?  How much is too much?
