    Mariana I have a feeling that statins shut off your immune system that naturally cure cancer. My skin cancer appeared when I was taking statins and was still there after surgery. Chemo and radiation mutate cancer cells and it always comes back and when it does it is unstoppable. Lipitor was invented by Merk , Sharp and Dome Pharma and the scientists that invented it have been trying to sue Merk for years for releasing it before the trials were complete.

    OMG!!! Now I understand why my Fader is now fighting the third kind of cancer in his life.  He had skin cancer, both carcinoma and melanoma then 8 years ago he had lipocarcinoma in his back, had an operation and radiations and won the battle.

    A few months ago, when we thought that we had finally got rid of that, it came back, this time as a lyomiocarcinoma.  He started on quimio for a few months and now he's a "lab rat" on a new drug on a study conducted by doctors from the Hadasa hospital in Jerusalem and doctors from de USA.

    He's being taking Lipitor for years!!!

    I got to experience this first hand. Believe me this information is all true. It seems that people do not understand what statins are. They are cholesterol lowering drugs and have several names, the worst is probably Lipitor and the most prescribed.
