Unlike the Church of Satan, the Satanic Temple doesn’t even believe in a supernatural entity called Satan. Instead, they celebrate Satan as “the ultimate rebel”, and they relish in using the symbol of Satan to greatly upset Christians.

That is Jesus and his Mother Mary ascended body and soul into the higher dimension. It is said in prophecy when the second coming is here and the planet ascends those still alive will NOT die a physical death. Those who reject God will not ascend with this planet, they will either be reincarnated onto another lower vibe 3d planet or to a worse place. It is the choice of the soul where it goes.

True WM. There are two distinctions here. Higher vibrational and lower vibrational. Those of lower vibes see the world in darkness and can do all kinds of atrocities: persecution of race, religion, beliefs, abuse, murder etc etc. True Satanism sacrifice life (killings of people, children, animals in a sacrificial ceremony which all is against God). There is more to this I don't have time to explain now.

As Jesus as said to all people Return to God. Now is the time, or those who do not will not ascend when the time comes (referring to this planet when it ascends to a higher dimension known as the kingdom of heaven). Jesus proved ascension (and so did his Mother the Immaculate Virgin).

As a person who sees christian believers in the same light as islamic believers, brainwashed to a harmful degree, I guess I fall into the secular category. I do not believe in absolute, typical forms of conservatism nor are my views welcomed by typical socialists or progressives. Indeed I can't be pigeon holed with a label, my views are not fully categorized by established social norms. That's what makes me American, independent thinking, dedicated to true freedom.
So it has baffled me when I run into metalheads who sport satanic decor, but then tell me they are "atheist" or "agnostic", but feel a need to display images of satanism to disturb specifically christians. What I find inevitably is that they were raised within the christian cult, and this is their form of rebellion against that kind of thought control. Shedding christian trappings for satanic trappings makes no sense from a secular viewpoint. Really, kind of a childish form of reaction to religion.
People with bible based social programming see this as a sign their boogie man, satan, has a hand in this, as do those suffering from koran based brainwashing, and judaic brainwashing. Hindus are so far down a different track I bet they see satan as a form of shiva or something. But , to me, it's all societal programming, brainswashing.
So that makes satanists look to me, like a failed rebellion, unable to fully shed the conditioning of the christian cults they were raised in they still have to meet at a temple or church, and sport an affiliation of some sort to identify their ideology to others. Satanists are often ex catholics, who saw all the contradictions of their belief system and knew it was wrong, but are unable to fully shed religious context in their actions and appearance.
I notice that christian conservatives often insist that the only true form of conservatism is christian based. How shallow and poorly thought out. True conservatism resists all social programming, which is more difficult than most of us realize.
