    I haven't been here in a while but wanted to add my two pennies . . . From the outsiders looking in at us right now, we have a Marxist government.  It is our constitutional given right to vote, however, the system can be rigged too, just like many other countries.  I also would like Ron Paul to get into office, but it won't happen.  If I recall from some past prophecy, isn't this the election that will produce the antichrist trio; after the major natural disaster to hit the US, these guys you are seeing right now won't make a difference when the antichrist comes along trying to save all claiming to be the savior.  Just questioning this.

    Voting Obama, I figured he was going to screw up and not accomplish much, well he got more done than I anticipated, Obama Care which has been ridiculed from day one is doing much more than it is being giving credit for, and lord and behold .... no death panels ..... the funny thing about facts is that if we bother we can actually verify them. 
     
    The vast majority of the prisoners at Guantanimo Bay have been relocated, no the prison has not been closed down and honestly speaking I don't think it should be.   I rather have a prison that isn't just outside my back door.....yes they bring jobs but they also subjugate our fellow have-nots, currently 73% of all the space taken up in prison is being taken up by non-violent drug offenders....Prisons in this country have become a racket....I absolutely understand the need for prisons but I utterly hate our method of deciding who ends up in them.....  Our legal system is a farce and that is were the degradation of our society began....... 
     
    Osama Bin Laden - many would call him the presidents namesake.  He is not and to imply it is simply gross ignorance.  Dead, on orders by a president most don't appreciate.  That's called finally turning the page on 9-11 and yes its thanks to a president that is vilified at every turn.
     
    There is a concept that I learned over the course of last year, its called obstructionism and it has been implemented to full effect by our House of Representative, where their job in congress this year was not to get anything done for the people they are supposed to serve but instead to focus all their time and energy into obstructing anything that the president may want to get accomplish...yes I understand that this includes the good and the bad....what keeps going to my mind is that the president doesn't introduce legislation nor does he vote on it.....which keeps being utterly ignored.  Executive orders only go so far and are quite limited in scope but people seem to treat them as if they are blank checks that the president is cashing in at an unprecedented rate.
     
    Just me refusing to become an Obama basher.  Not keen on lowering myself simply to poke jabs at someone who will never receive them.

    Uh Oh.. the two things you do not talk about because the tension runs so high... religion and politics...

    To NORAD... Reconsider your decision to abstain from voting... This is our unalienable right and privilege, and what power it brings when we step OUT of the voting booth after having cast our ballot!  You want freedom?  Vote!  

    Other than that, I certainly do agree we have a puppet government, and from being in this venue, we have some idea of who is pulling the strings.  For goodness sake, our president cannot even carry on the simplest conversation without his teleprompter.

    Thier agenda is and was the same. We would be in the same state as we are now w/McCain. They are both puppets

    This was our choice "This piece of dodo, omam" or "This piece of dodo, mccain".

    McCain is mentally unstable, IMHO.  I think we would have been worse off too.  As much as I don't favor Hillary, I think she would have done a better job than O, just because of her track record.

    Byron, arrest is not an option in this kind of law.  The sanction is a default judgment that will keep his name off the ballot.  You think the WH is going to allow it?  CDIH.

    If you really think about it.....Obama will get re-elected because TPTB want it that way.  He has been a good little puppet and I am sure is handlers are proud of him.  

    As I have said on too many occasions, I would love to go back to the Laura Ingalls days.  Such a simpler time and people were real then.  We have been spoiled and a majority would not make it if we went back to the land.

    Thanks Tammy for letting me know your thoughts and for the link.  I do not care for our government on any level, elected officials have all proven that their interest come first over ours which is my big problem with the system in place.  I would love a world with less laws but I also fear that world.
