A Sudden, Shocking Thought

WHAT IF...

all one's genetic lifetimes are remembered in one's dna?  In other words, this lifetime's genetic memory is a composite of all genetic lifetimes.  Would this be the same as soul memories?  Or are they two separate things?  I have a friend who doesn't believe in past lives, but does believe in genetic memory.

Take, for instance, my fibromyalgia.  In a prior lifetime, I had rheumatism.  Is that physical defect stored in soul memory, or is it genetic memory?  Are some things remembered in the mind, and some in the genetic blueprint?

  • I guess so.  Floyd (my black and white cat) was in my lap, as was the laptop, so I played the Christmas cat video.  When that one cat hissed, his ear flinched.  It finished.  He looked up at me.  I played it again.  This time, muscles in his hind legs twitched when that same cat hissed.

Well, at least he'll know what to do with the little Christmas tree I'm giving him and his brother for Christmas.

  • It's a cat's built in emergency spring system.  LOL

  • Those are funny!  It's amazing how they can just take off straight up without crouching, isn't it?

It must be a built-in mechanism to avoid anything unknown, especially if they look snake-like.

  • Yes hilarious!  Of course the one Cheryl posted of the christmas tree  is really funny too LOL

  • Kim the cats and cucumbers was really funny.

  • I think your right Cheryl. I have seen my cats freak out seeing a hose.

  • Byron, here's a story about snakes.  I bought a scratch pad for the boys at the thrift store.  It had a black string that was broken on one side.  When one of my cats saw it, he literally jumped straight up and back, all four paws left the ground.  I know he thought it was a snake.  Whether he's encountered one in real life, I don't know, but his reaction was strong.

  • I am sure there is so much in our DNA we do not know about.
