Anybody else having internet problems?

I did all that too Dianna.  And checked for virouses and trojens.  Also called Att and they blamed my internet phone.  But a friend who has the phone and fixes computers said they told him the same thing and he thinks it is ATT that is the proble.  I have a special dedacated line just for the computer.

Jim..your long post.. Yes.. same thing here.. I am on one page and, whift... up comes another.. The typing delay might be your sticky keys... mine also acting up... just press the SHIFT key over and over, and should release.  I also have high speed (would go nuts without it), and is so slow.. called ATT and, of course, they say it is my computer.. don't think so.. have defrag'd, erased hx, etc..

Here is something today.  At the bottom of my screen is a prompt that says, smart screen filter can not check this websitebecause the microsoft online service is temporaily unavailable.  Now that tells me that the problem with our puters is feom Microsoft!

I have been having problems all week.  We have had a rotating storm over the Great Lakes and it has been raining everyday for that week.  It is a strange storm.  Sometimes we ger a heavy downpour for 5 seconds then it stops.  My cpmputer will freeze up and I get a prompt that a script on the page is causing the problem and aske if I want to stop the script, I click yes and it runs again.  I also type and nothing happends for 15 seconds suddenly the typing shows up.  Also the puter changes pages or just turns the site off on it's own.  Changing pages took forever and I have high speed!  I ran all kinds of test and there is nothing wrong with my computer, so it is the net!   One more thing I would type a letter and get some other letter, but that might be the keyboard.  Any one have any answers?

yesterday and today i had no problems with getting into the group or yahoo. i wasn't on the computer much, busy busy. it was the wash machine again. maybe your husband can buy you a new one. then all will be safe.

Ha!  I just had to go down and reset the modem.  Argh. 

Any how I am on the back porch with my laptop enjoying the fresh air and all the noisy night crickets.  :)
