Missile or UFO? Thousands of People Witness Spinning ‘Catherine Wheel’ in the Sky

Thousands of people in Israel, Turkey and Jordan got the shock of their lives yesterday, as they watched a spinning ‘UFO’ performing cartwheels in the sky.
Police in these countries – as well as in Cyprus and Lebanon – were flooded with phonecalls by panicked residents, as the white, gleaming light danced high up in the atmosphere.
Theories abounded over what this could be – a failing missile test, a satellite breaking up in our atmosphere, or a visit from an alien spacecraft.
However, the mysterious light does appear to be earth-based technology, with the the spiral of light looking very similar to a Russian missile test which similarly scared people in Norway in 2009 with a light-show which seemed more Doctor Who than anything else.

Good point.....if natural in nature does not bode well for us, if man made interesting if nothing else.....am still leaning towards pyrotechnics but thats just me.....
possible. Maccaneys model says, and I agree, tornadoes and hurricanes in fact all weather has an electromagnetic origin. have you seen a luminous tornado? I suppose the advent of enormous electric plasma discharges from the sun is unknown territory, who can say what is possible with these huge forces?
Are tornadoes electromagnetic to the point of luminosity possible.
A missile going into a spiral freefall could cause such a display but for it to be a perfect spiral, like the one in the video....not likely....or decent pyrotechnics could also cause the effect....
this is very very possible. interacting with our atmosphere.
thy again come out with the same lame, pathetic excuses and attempted distractions, maybe they have no more idea than we. It could be a warning, maybe a portal opening up in near earth environment. these may happen all the time in the solar system, but I wonder if, when they happen close to earth, our atmosphere, we see these spirals? the effect of our atmosphere???
