BIRCH CREEK, Mich. - A Michigan family's property has a sudden unexplained divide.

A large unexplained crack now runs 200 yards through the Salewsky family's property, eight miles north of Menominee in Birch Creek.

The family thinks it happened yesterday around 9:00 in the morning. The ground raised five feet up, taking trees along for the ride.

  • It WAS an earthquake....4.5 in OK....about an hour ago!!!!
  • I looked at the USGS list and it doesn't show up on the lists, of course, I doubt that they have earthquake monitoring equipment in that area. I'm inclined to think that this latest story is a cover-up or a misunderstanding of the facts. People must be asking questions, even more people than us.
So, the next logical question to the authorities would be, if this is a quake, what do we know about the fault lines in this area?
I'm still leaning with Morris, torque, and stretch....
  • Don't forget.... it's October 13th in a few hours.....

  • Cheryl, by an earthquake of only a 1 or 2 magnitude????????
  • Earthquakes M1+ last 7 days...

  • Crack caused by quake....http://www.mtu.edu/news/stories/2010/october/story31847.html
  • I went the the CMSE EMSE site to see what the earthquake actvity was in the USA over the days of 10/1 to 10/08 and no activity was shown for this area which tends to support that this was caused by the earth stretching, tearing apart.

  • Great find, Brian!!!! on the Michigan crack, again it's in the upper penisula, about 40 miles from the western shore of Lake Michigan, Menominee. I wonder why it's being called the Michigan crack, it looks like it is in Wisconsin to me. Also, the fact that the land rose at least 5 feet on one side of the crack and that many neighbors felt rumbling of the earth moving and heard something that they thought were dynamite explosions has not yet been reported in the MSM news. This story will be dropped. Thanks Cbays for asking for some more follow-up on this.

PS, yep, I enjoyed Sonia, thanks for sharing Alesiah. :D
  • Paul S reported in Eric's blog here that the ground has been moving where he is at for days now, it's continually rumbling. I don't think I would have known that had he not reported here what is happening in his local area. Eric lives in the UK.
There are probably tons of these anomalies happening all over the planet and are not getting notice except by local people, talking to each other and reporting events locally.
  • Morris, I wanted to point out that the Hungarian Sludge flood happened last week, and I think it seems to fit your theory. Here's the latest I've seen on this, evidently this sludge is visible from space.
