  • Yes...got back in the nick of time.. Like I was saying we drive right through that earthquake region so I get nervous the roads will break-up and I'll get stuck down there..crazy that we felt it all the way up here North of Branson at about 11:00 pm..
  • I'm driving to Little Rock for the weekend...talk to you Sunday.... I guess I'll let ya know if I feel anything... Ewww ..

FEMA NEWS RELEASE published December 15th 2010

    http://www.fema.gov/news/newsrelease.fema?id=53397

  • 3.5 today the 23rd. at 6:24 pm 2miles from Twin Groves
  • Odd couple of days but it was a beautiful warm day yesterday and had no interuption of electronics...
  • I just noticed they really downgraded the one this morning a lot. There was another one a 2.7 at 4:06 pm.
  • They downgraded it too. The man that was on the news this morning with the usgg said he didn't think it was from the disposal wells. I think you are right Alex,it is deeper down. We are only about 35 miles from Guy.
  • Pretty confident that the shaking that is occurring is happening due to much larger processes at work....deeper than we have ever reached by drilling......

Keep in mind: The oceanic crust of the sheet is different from its continental crust. The oceanic crust is 5 km (3 mi) to 10 km (6 mi) thick[1] and is composed primarily of basalt, diabase, and gabbro. The continental crust is typically from 30 km (20 mi) to 50 km (30 mi) thick, and is mostly composed of slightly less dense rocks than those of the oceanic crust.

We are talking about a process that will split 20-30 mile thick rock or at least the top 3-5 miles......nope its not us pumping water into the ground......now if you told

  • More on Fracking

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110217/ap_on_re_us/us_arkansas_earthqu...

A major source of natural gas in Arkansas is the Fayetteville Shale, an organically-rich rock formation in north-central Arkansas. Drillers free up the gas by using hydraulic fracturing or "fracking" — injecting pressurized water to create fractures deep in the ground.

Ausbrooks said geologists don't believe the production wells are the problem, but rather the injection wells that are used to dispose of "frack" water when it can no longer be re-used. The wastewater is pressurized and injected into the ground.

"We see no correlation between natural gas production wells and earthquakes, but we haven't ruled out injection wells," he said, adding that if production wells were the cause, the earthquakes would be scattered all over the region underlain by the Fayetteville Shale formation and not in just one area.

Ausbrooks said the earthquakes are occurring in the vicinity of several injection wells.

  • I am concerned about April .. if the earthquake/CME theory is correct. The lights in the sky was indication of Aurora Borealis..in Chili before their 8.8 earthquake on 02-27-10....now a year later, they are shaking again..and the sun is ejecting CME's again..

  • I was awake when they hit...There were 4 of them..3 hours or so ago...http://quakes.globalincidentmap.com/

I did hear one shaky wall, but thought Im half a sleep and am dreaming.. I wonder if HWY-7 around Conway is connected to the New Madrid in some way...both are going crazy..

I have a feeling when Yellowstone goes, the New Madrid, etc. and Mt. St. Helen will go... just by watching the connection between the frequencies...of the three locations and I certainly hope Im wrong..

I do think the CME/solar connection causes eathquakes.. I guess we will see later today when they hit..
