While I think there is less likelihood of riots because of cuts at the beginning of the month, there could be some local hot spots. If you live in a big city or near areas with a high population on food stamps, keep your situational awareness high at all times. Don't go alone. Have some form of defense against groups.
Also be aware that not all food stamp recipients are paid on the 1st of the month. My son gets his on the 9th. So, stay especially alert through the first ten days of the month. As the last week of the month approaches, we will see if food banks are able to cover the deficiency caused by the cuts. If not, and people are getting desperate, look for problems. Check your local news.

Go for it
Keith,
I asked that same question and thought about it, then studied it and came up with one possible answer.
Maybe a separate post for that question is in order.
That's a good question, they truly are.
No never at this time. I suspect the demolition party will jump through the hoop and save the people after they see what effects it has.
It's being said that it was a temporary increase that has expired. But still, food prices have skyrocketed so it really shouldn't have been allowed to expire.
The timing of this cut is suspicious to me, I think it may be a test to see if they take a little away what will happen. DHS is prepared as though they expect something and programing people to think there might be a riot.
