  • Paul, I know what you mean.  I have watched the sun and it seemed to stay in one place for much longer then it should have.  It was around 1PM and it hardly moved as the day moved on.
  • I can see where the sun is setting further north, but when I compare it to the Gaisma chart, the sun appears to be within the stated degree range. I'll keep trying, tho, to try and catch a true earth wobble.

For those waiting with me for the sun to come up, here's an interesting article: Magnetic Polar Shifts Causing Massive Global Superstorms

  • A few days back the sun set so far north that the entire northern sky was just as bright orange as the setting sun.  It was strange to see the sky bright orange as the sun went down.
  • I live behind the Dollar General Store and all last summer the sun set in the middle of the store. Today it is setting just to the right which is more to the North.

  • Well with all the clouds we have, it is hard for me to see the sun rise, but when I can see the sun set, I notice that the sun is more to the northwest. I use a tree has my guide.
  • Msred, I'll throw in my two cents.  Some days things are normal, then there's a wobble.  Then things are back to normal.  Maybe you were watching when Earth wasn't in a wobble?
  • A misalignment of the sun is caused by the earth adjustments be it a wobble, buldging, subduction whatever it may be, its the earth not the sun that has changed....  Where the sun rises and sets has been off for years along with moon cycles and what not.  Keep an eye to the sky for that will be our first clue the the proverbial *hit has hit the fan.....
  • I have noticed that the sun has been rising and setting slightly differently as compared 10 years ago.  I even noticed last summer, by using my neighbors house as a marker, that near the summer soltice, the sun actually set in THREE different places in a span of 3 days.  What I mean about this, is one evening it set where it normally sets, then the next day, it actually went backwards a few degrees (not forwards like it is supposed to before the summer soltice), then the next evening, it set in the same place it did two nights previous.  I've NEVER seen anything like this before in my life.  THAT was freaky and obviously due to the earth wobble.
  • So location makes a difference?
