ISON - NOW - After Perihelion - Strong And INTACT

A video by David Vose:

"NASA can see stars millions of light years away

and tell you the weather on distant galaxies,

but NASA doesn't know if ISON survived!

You just saw the pictures ...... you decide!"

  • And another:

According to my estimations, after ISON has sailed past us, earth is on an orbital trajectory which will pass through the comet’s particle trail (the one that ISON left behind when it was approaching the sun on its inbound leg,) and this will happen on or around January 12 – 15, 2014. This is remarkable.

  • Here's a comment from the OP of the GLP link:

According to the reports issued from Russia ITAR-TASS ,the remains of Comet ISON are slowing down their speed and have changed their way. An accelerated meteor showers is expected as a ‘Christmas gift’ and a ‘meteorite falling to Earth’ cannot be excluded due to the slow motion of the comet and a general scattering of the comets’ prior composition. It seems this dancing comet has survived after getting closer to sun. This comet gained following from our planet due to its bright tail visible from space

The Pulkovo Observatory compared such a transformation with “Maiden jump over the fire,” and it endangers to form a surprise for earthlings. The destruction of the comet has sharply dropped the speed and change way of motion of its parts. The comet crossed to the Earth’s orbit on December 24 at 65 million miles from Earth without any damage. However, owing to a general slowdown cloud movement compared with the nucleus and the backlog debris from the head of it crosses the path of the earth around the sun a week after, just before the New Year, and meet with earth.

Smirnov said that t one can not exclude a meteorite falling to Earth. He calls it the probability of the event, astronomers will update as for speed and glowing fragments of the comet . He further added that we can not exclude more formidable phenomena such as meteor shower on earth`s surface.

  • Many people are talking about Ison.  We will see soon enough if anything will happen.

  • Yes.  I think we will see activity between Christmas and New Year's.

  • Thanks.  That is if it stays on the predicted path.  Guess time will tell.

  • The old Ison real-time data table is back on line:  http://www.cometison2013.co.uk/perihelion-and-distance/.  It cautions that it is still based on the old orbital path.

  • Earth passes through the debris trail starting December 26th.

  • How much time before it is in our area?

  • Thanks, Peter.  It could be broken up more than we can see (though with some still really large chunks), but all traveling together.  One downside to it being mostly in a couple of large chunks is the damage it would do if it hit Earth.  Smaller chunks would do more damage, but more widespread.  I don't know which is worse.

  • Mr Vose is clearly frustrated with some of the uneducated responses...

    prolly feels like Luke Wilson...2967657559?profile=original

    yep
