  • All summer rain one week then no rain for a week then repeat. Last yr the cherry tree turn and drop it leaves right away it is still green and full of leaves this yr!

  • We've been getting plenty of rain and I don't notice any other trees turning yellow, except the type of tree (Locust I think) that is the first to turn colors in the fall.  If the rain wasn't sinking in, there would be all types of trees turning yellow here.

  • We are in drought here for the third year.

  • This article does explain the reason why the leaves of decidious trees are turning yellow. I am not sure if this changes apply to all. I was thinking that maybe, the sun position had something to do with this phenomenon.

  • Trees are good here
  • I just got back ans do not see leaves changing color but many dying on the the Maples and apple trees everything else seems OK.

  • Yes, about 2-3 weeks ago, the tree that changes first was already beginning to turn yellow in patches.  This morning we had fog that usually appears mid-September.

  • Yesterday a friend in Iowa said that the leaves were falling off the trees and I looked out in my yard and the same thing is happening here. I have never raked leaves in August. My garden has stopped growing and my tomato plants are acting like it is almost winter.  I am going to take a walk today to take a closer look at other local trees and plants.
