  • It is on a known fault line. Wait and see game.
  • The Wilzetta Fault is the one giving them concern right now.  I'm worried that it will affect the New Madrid.  It was in November 1811 when it gave and we had the same preceding conditions.
  • The earth is buckling.
  • The earthquakes are still happening in OK.  Two in the last hour.  3.7   3.3
  • based on New York time I estimate the earthquake happened roughly at 10.43 your night time, am I right? use the world clock in the url below

  • What I want to know is if these quakes are on or near a fault line?  We know that fracking is going on nationwide and I am not sure if this is a side effect of this or not.
  • Oh I am east coast eastern U.S standard time.
  • one thing we have ti bear in mind is the depth. I assume if it near the surface relatively it will feel worse. also the thought comes to me, , won't the kind of rock strata affect how the earthquake propagates? this presumably will make a difference to how it is felt. I am not a geologist though.
  • Here are testimonies from from the quake, last night there were 17 now there are 30
