making an observations about the earthsounds, heard just now, I believe.

I could hear the roaring from my computer, and recognized what it might be. so, I went to the back door and stood listening. Now, as I have said we have a couple of airbases on the Island, Valley and Rosneigr. these are to the back of me however. and it is now nightime, twenty past nine to be precise. so, I  listened and the noise was  soft, but clearly audible roar, imagine the roar of a wind swept sea perhaps. the main noise came form the south east, and was quite loud. as I listened, it faded but then it came from the north, . the change in direction was quite clear. so, was it one of the earthsounds? I do wonder, but thought it of interest to record it here.

some of the sounds in the US may well be from the tunnel system that lies deep below the surface. one speculation s, they are powering up the system. another, the tunnels are being destroyed and we are hearing gas being sucked into the vacuum tubes. yet another they are busy extending the DUMB's, maybe emergency repairs. and again, it could wel be the groanings if the earth mother, or maybe her  growing anger at the mess we are making of her surface....

Well, my first thought was it is water or something liquid.  From in the inner bowels of the earth.  The night before all of the EQs yesterday, I was in the break room at work.  I was leaning against the counter of the sink area.  All of a sudden I felt slightly disoriented but soon realized that I was aware of a very subtle movement, a slow subtle shaking so to speak.  I looked around at the other people in the room and wondered if they had felt it.  No one said anything.  So, neither did I.  It happened at 7:45 pm CST in Texas.  Then the EQs hit about 12 hours later on the other side of the world.  I have to note that I have never had that feeling before in my life.

Last month I heard a loud noise that lasted about 3 minutes then stoped.  Three or four minutes later it started up again but not as loud, which lasted about 13 seconds.  It sounded like someone scraping finger nails on a black board.  The sound came from the direction of lake Michigan.
