Snow already!

A cold blast of polar air has moved over central Europe, pushíng temperatures far below normal. Snow is forecast in the Alps at elevations as low as 1400 meters.

The following chart shows the forecast for the next 2 weeks. It shows that summer is finished for much of Europe. In fact, as mentioned above, the lower Alps are expected to get snowfall in the couple of days ahead. Continue reading below.

  • Leaves have already started turning colors and falling from the trees...since mid-August, 3 to 4 weeks early.
  • Its been chilly here as well. I can smell Fall in the air already. The west coast of Canada didn't have much of a winter this year due to the El Nino, I bet this year turns out to be cold record breaker.
  • It's been cool there. My daughter lives close to Trier Germany. She said Saturday it was in the fifties and windy. Ready to come home to the USA.
