Forgot to say...

something unusual happened before I fell asleep the second time --- I know it was my brain playing with me --- small ink splotches, one on top of another, developed before my mind's eye (let's say the size of a penny in relation to a basketball --- gives you an idea of the size in relation to the panorama behind closed eyelids). Each splotch developed into a different image, most of which were scary looking, one very similar to a creature on the 1920s vampire movie... and like an old movie, every one of them was in black, grey and white.

LOL.. this was the last that I read before going to bed last night. I fell asleep, but was jarred awake by a phone call from my aunt at a little after 12:30. Had a hard time going back to sleep, because our conversation ended up being quite long and of a serious nature. When I finally fell asleep, AGAIN, I found myself in dreams about this very OP...

In the dream, I was somewhat of the person 'in-the-know' about this area of the U.S. and I was given the duty of convincing everyone arguing these facts about a newly found fault line that the newly found facts were wrong. It was a battle (in the dream), one you'd coin as 'up-hill' all the way! Within the dream, the date Sept. 9th kept coming up. It was screamed into my neural being, in dream-like non-vocal language, and repeated enough that I woke, wondering what in the world I had on the calendar for Sept. 9th.
