  • These are the sort of thoughts I thought of when I saw this, which is why I wanted to share this. In my heart I want to "do" something for the Pakistani's , I think this is one of the reasons why I do the meditations, and so on. I donate what I can, too, when I can.

I think we may all be dealing with these kind of scenes in our local areas, very soon, sometime over the next few years. So, I keep trying to learn from them. I keep asking myself how would I handle this situation, like the flood, in this post, or the landslide in another post. I ask myself how would people I know handle these situations. And, I pray, and listen for answers, about what I can do now, to be ready to help in the future.
And then, I go outside, breath in the beauty of life all around me, and choose, one more time, to trust life, and myself, and others, while I continue to learn how to be ready. And hope, this is enough.
  • This tragedy is multiplied by the fact that much of the world is in economic trouble. I know that many people will have a difficult time reaching inot their own pockets to donate because of their own economic uncertainty. Our governments cannot just keep printing money to help either. This is troublesome on so many fronts. If we help too much then we push ourselves ever closer to the brink of our own economic collaps. If we don't help enough the area becomes ripe for the pickings for terrorist groups, rioting, and massive deaths. The scope is truly mind boggling!
