  • Rosemary, I can't tell how many ribs.

  • Cheryl, did you notice the thoracic cage on the chest X-ray? I have not had a chance to really look at it. Being a humanoid, I am assuming that this alien may have the same number of ribs that we do. But then again, at a glance, there seem to be more ribs.

  • You too, Rosemary.  Yes, it does look like the orange cap.

  • Good eyes Cheryl. Yes the person hands' are sweaty. The syringe is a 3cc gauge and the needle is possibly 5/8 gauge??? The stain on the 4X4 gauze is the top cap of a specimen vial. It is the same colour as the other vials. The tweezers in the examiner left hand is a standard medical instrument. In the trailer video, we see the this examiner remove a specimen from the alien's head. I just notice the surgical sharp point scissors to the left. This is a real OR set up. The small alien measures approximately 6 inches (15 cm).

  • On looking closer, it does seem a bit orange... but who's to say what color alien blood should be?  ;-)

And there's an uncapped needle, for what?  Giving him an injection or sucking out his dessicated brains?  And it's laying across what, litmus paper or some vehicle to carry smears for the microscope (that's usually done on clear glass plates)?, contaminating it?  The tools look human sized, how do they think they are going to get into the really small nooks and crannies?  And while it looks like the autopsy performer is just starting, his hand looks sweated out inside the glove.

  • You maybe right Cheryl.

However, personally I'm not sure - the red dot doesn't look like blood to me - not human anyway - the color is a bit odd - more orange than red.

It may be clearer in the movie.

  • You know what I just noticed that gives it away that the picture is a hoax?  Notice the drop of bright red just below the gloved pinky finger?  Blood from old, dessicated skeletal remains?  Or did the surgeon stab himself?
