Today marks the final day of Bernanke’s testimony to Congress.

 

Highlights from the first day of testimony and Q&A include:

 

    Q: Are You Printing Money?

    Bernanke: Not Literally

 

Amazingly, no one said anything after this comment. But far more importantly was the last statement made by the Fed Chairman,

 

“If we were to tighten (monetary) policy, the economy would tank.”

Very good point he is typing not printing.  ooo,ooo,ooo,ooo,ooo

I think that is probably right, Byron.  We also probably don't print money, just add zeroes in the computer.

Maybe what he meant was the money was already printed. We can't prop it up forever and the longer we do, the worse the outcome will be. I believe the collapse is being timed and will be no accident.
