  • msred, could you run skyearth for June 10th?
  • Thanks John but like msred said: group effort!
  • GREAT CATCH BRAD...
  • Brad, okay.  Thanks.
  • No, just that there are not two seperate captures.
  • msred, could you run EarthSky for June 10th?
  • What's the significance, Brad?  Does it change anything as far as determining what the objects are?
  • At the begining of the "Australia" video it says May 10....but I think Disclosur3 is playing a game here. This wasn't from Aus, it is the Hawaii video! One of the comments below the vid picked up on it. Just noticed that....same video.
  • Don't know if it solves this one, but we need to consider everything (one of the nice things about having such a diverse group - each brings his/her own "what about this") before making outlandish assumptions.

  • In the original video, the left object is significantly higher and closer to the main object than the right one.  It's almost opposite on the EarthSky.org image, where the left object is further away from the main object and lower.

However, there is still a question of whether the image was taken on May 10th or June 10th.  That would alter the positions of the planets and might resolve this discrepancy.  How can we determine when the video was actually shot?  Like I said earlier, I found no news articles about a launch on May 10th, but there was a launch on June 10th.  The title of the youtube video says June, but the video itself says May.
