I put this up as a possible scenario for the future of our planet, our history has enough evidence recorded as to how long and when ice ages happen and how long they last but they are not exact and could be late and have no exact timing. They last 200 yrs 400 yrs 1000yrs and 10,000 yrs and timing in between. Volcanoes and earthquakes are common. The Carrington EMP event happened at the end of the last ice age and Mt Tempora volcano also erupted in the last ice age that was the year without summer. The Bubonic plague lasted through the last ice age for 200yrs. The history is close but not precise.
