Thanks for the eye witness update on the fires Jim. This is so sad. I can't imagine the suffering from this, human and animals.
I'm visiting my brother here in Las Vegas.....drove down from Grand Junction, Co. on Monday. The smoke is much worse in Utah than anywhere else, even Vegas. Just north of St. George, Utah, and West of I-15 everything is burned off black! After coming down the Virgin River Gorge and entering the desert floor there was a road crew working at the turn off to Bunkerville, the turn off to the Bundy Ranch. They were improving the guard rails over the bridge where the Patriots with "black rifles" sticking out between the joints in the temporary concrete sections of guard railing, had held the BLM Agents at bay. Anyway, it's now all poured in place concrete guard rails with no joints anymore. A potential rifleman will have to look over the top, exposing himself, if he wants to shoot the "Federal Fish" trapped in the barrel. Maybe someone is planning to "rustle" the Bundy cattle a second time? At least BLM Agent Daniel Love won't be one of them. I heard he was fired.... As for things in Las Vegas: many fast food places shut or drive through only, Casinos open, Vons Supermarket open, but extremely expensive, supposed to wear a mask everywhere. I did not. Three Illegals walked into an In and Out Hamburger while I was eating lunch in Utah. They ordered a large amount, none had on masks, and all three left without donning a mask, or having anything said to them about it. However, if looks could kill, the looks several people gave them would have done the job.... I will try to post more from Vegas as events unfold here. I'm having trouble getting my brother's old outdated computer to do anything right. Plus I forgot all my bookmarks. I run Linux and Firefox, and he has some version of microsoft....yuuk!
