Climate: New study slashes estimate of icecap loss

There is an interesting point made in this article, with the new study they now feel that this glacial action accounts for only 30% of the sea rise, whereas before they considered it to account for 50%. A 20% difference.

Then I read this sentence, "The rest would come mainly from thermal expansion, meaning that as the sea warms it rises."

So, what then is causing the sea to warm so much that it accounts for 70% of the sea level rise we are presently seeing???? Probably all the undersea volcanic activity that we are getting tiny glimpses of, again, pointing to a heating core in the planet.
