I'm sure this 6.2 was downgraded from a higher figure of the real magnitude. ( They don't want people freaking out, I guess) Also, this scale that they are now using, is one whole number LOWER. In other words this 6.2 would have been a 7.2 on the old original Richter scale. The USGS Earthquake Seismic Center is right here in Golden Colorado.....
