Never Say Never

We here in the Washington DC area were awaked by a quake of 3.7 magnitude. I am about 5 miles from the epicenter, was dozing and waiting for the alarm and at 5:04 am I heard (what I thought was) a bomb go off and felt the shock waves roll through the house, My first, but not last Quake.

THAT NEVER happens here LOL.

    Something is definatly happening to me...went fishing and camping this weekend near Harpors Ferry, WV, had a blast. We must have caught 30 catfish. But then my poor old van broke down and left everyone stranded. LOL. Stuff happens.

    We better brace ourselves something is up. I feel it in my bones. All day I'm waiting for something to happen - I have a feeling something big is about to happen soon!

    Dianna, we've been experiencing those surges in the lights as well at home in MD and at work in DE. There's something definitely happening.

    Hi Brad, I'm glad that there was no major damage or casualties. Maybe some of these small scenario events will help wake people up before the bigger events.

    Actually it was small enough to just be a novelty ...nothing like what is coming I know! Kim, part of my heritage is PA-Dutch and my paternal grandparents are buried in Dillsburg.

    Here in Ohio, I have been having my dining room light fixture tremble, I guess is the right word, very lightly shake for about 30-45 seconds at a time.. and last night I was up until 4 am, again... the energies are 'wierd'.. Brad, I know from the short time I lived in CA, if you are not familiar with EQs, it is very unsettling, to say the least. Keep us updated and stay safe. Perhaps I will repost an article on how to survive an EQ. And, MaryAnn, .. afraid you are so right... there is more to come. Thank God for the Internet, or I would feel so isolated.

    No kidding, WOW. Exactly, that never happens there!

    However, poor Dillsburg, Pa has been experiencing micro-quakes, the largest being a 3.1 so far since October of 2008. Well over a thousand of them since 2008. This kind of phenomena is not normal for the area.
