Two Status Yellow wind warnings are now in place for the entire country.
Counties Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Galway are under a Status Yellow wind warning until 5pm.
People are being warned of very strong west to northwest winds developing, with widespread gusts of 80 to 110km/h expected.
