You never have to water your lawn, do you, Martin? I only get about 6 inches of precipitation per year, here in Western Colorado. It's High Desert (4750 feet in the valley floor) . We have all the irrigation water we need from the nearby Colorado River, though.... We produce some of the best wines, peaches, pears, and apples. in the world here, because we never have a "bad" year, since there's always plenty of water for the grapes, and we have very abundant sunshine the year around..... I don't even own an umbrella! I do have to run a room humidifier, because the air is too dry if you don't.... I'd offer you the use of my canoe, but I'll need it myself this coming Summer, when I'll go fishing on one of the 200 mountain lakes that lie within a 50 mile radius of Grand Junction. You can watch the lake trout hit your lure 20 feet down, the water is so clear..... Pssst..... Please don't tell anyone about this part of Colorado. We don't want anymore people moving here..... I guess a few tourists are okay..... Most of them go to Denver though, or else the ski resorts in the Winter. Secret.....we natives of the "banana belt" of Colorado consider Denver to be the "armpit of the Rockies"! We wouldn't live there on a bet.... well, long enough on my rant. It's getting past my bedtime here in God's Country.....
Snow in Ireland?
