Lava flows from Iceland volcano slow after heavy snow
Lava flows from a volcano in Iceland are slowing as heavy snows cloaked the area, reducing visibility of an eruption that, for now, looks set to spar…
  • Yesterday, December 18, volcano fully erupted.  I'm bumping this thread to show how long we have been watching this event unfold.

    • Hopefully they did have enough time to evacuate everyone (many weeks).

  • Heard yesterday that the whole town closest to the volcano was totally evacuated. Authorities gave the folks 15 minutes to pack up and leave.

Note to prepper self:  Have To-Go bag ready, and close to door. I had a friend who kept hers concealed in her footstool in the living area.
I'm also gathering together a Go-To hospital bag... just in case. Last year when I was admitted for RSV for five days, I didn't even have a lipstick in my purse. Well, that's not going to happen again, I can tell you that.

  • Children of My Immaculate Heart, pray strongly for Iceland, it suffers, it suffers....

  • It is hard trying to find more recent updates on iceland.

  • Bump this thread. Evacuating people now from the area. The magma chamber is enormous and becoming more dangerous by the day.

    • This doesn't sound good at all!

      • Nope. Going to effect us all worldwide. Air, water, land pollution.
