Yesterday, December 18, volcano fully erupted. I'm bumping this thread to show how long we have been watching this event unfold.
Hopefully they did have enough time to evacuate everyone (many weeks).
Heard yesterday that the whole town closest to the volcano was totally evacuated. Authorities gave the folks 15 minutes to pack up and leave.
Note to prepper self: Have To-Go bag ready, and close to door. I had a friend who kept hers concealed in her footstool in the living area.
I'm also gathering together a Go-To hospital bag... just in case. Last year when I was admitted for RSV for five days, I didn't even have a lipstick in my purse. Well, that's not going to happen again, I can tell you that.
Children of My Immaculate Heart, pray strongly for Iceland, it suffers, it suffers....

Bump this thread. Evacuating people now from the area. The magma chamber is enormous and becoming more dangerous by the day.
This doesn't sound good at all!
Nope. Going to effect us all worldwide. Air, water, land pollution.
