Fast forward to modern times, where each of us have households full of smart electronics, equipped with cameras, microphones, and endless possibilities of privacy invasion.

    Yes they have teachers have been watching kids at home and FaceBook has been watching you for years.

    I thought from the get-go that Alexa was a stealth surveillance device disguised as a consumer convenience.

    And a new way to steal your SS# or other information, the Alexas and the other towers that are coming out.  Hackers (and tptb) will have a field day listening in on households.

    Yes, but now the means to do so are much ore intrusive and cleverly disguised as consumer friendly and convenient.
