  Keith the mini-documentary I saw on the dead trees covered the area from Sacramento to Tahoe as the worst area. In the Video it said that the smoke from the coming fire will suffocate the people in the central Valley because the stagnant air that is already there stays there forever. Most of the people who live there have respiratory problems. The Oroville dam will solve that problem.

  Rosemary they were probably dropping Magnesium because it is the mineral all plants need to absorb their nutrients.

  When they started spraying MONSATAN made all their seeds aluminum resistant, yes they knew what was going to happen. The aluminum stops trees from being able to absorb nutrients from the soil and then the trees become weak and are attacked by Bark beetles. In the lower Sierras there is an 80% pine tree die off and they are expecting the worst fire in California history starting soon about the time the snow melt peaks and the Oroville dam and baybe a few above it cease to exist. I have had poor gardens for 3 years using heirloom seeds and potting soil which some was owned by Monsanto, Miracle grow potting soil is owned by Monsanto.We are all going to be screwed by the Aluminum and Barium. GMO"S OR STARVE

  I know that in Eastern Canada, a project was started where minerals were disperced to the forest floor by areal application. It did help the trees. I need to find this research paper.
