I've been collecting food every which way I can. Not only will it continue to increase in price, but as new shipments come in, food items are going to be more and more subject to radiation in the environment. I plan to buy #10 cans of milk powder and powdered eggs and baking supplies to add to my other long-term storage food (like wheat) while they can still be found uncontaminated, then make my own baked goods as I need them.
I have so much canned goods that I am running out of places to put it all. I too am canning a lot this year because what is going to be in stores will be sky high.
