CBD Oil ... a report

My elderly friend said her doctor prescribed CBD oil for her fibro.  She says it helps with the pain, but numbs her feelings and also makes her lethargic.  I dont' know how much her age (a month away from 78) plays into it, but I'm going to try it for the fibro pain and see how it works for me.  Has anyone else had experience with it?

  • Do you know what the strength was?  The company I ordered from has regular and extra strength (balm).  I just wish they could do the cbd oil unfortunately they are on other meds that the oil may interfere with.  :/

I have carpal tunnel and got a free sample and didn’t work on my wrists.

I wonder if this will work as well as the oil by applying it to the skin.  I have a feeling the doctors will nix the oral cbd oil for my parents since one is on warfarin and the other is on thinners due to having stents.  Ugh.

  • Thanks, Dianna.  I think it works in states that have legalized it.  Here in VA it has to be CBD oil only, and is available by prescription only.  I doubt the pharmacy dispenses gummies, but who knows?

Before I forget, you can order gummies or other, by mail... .. just sayin', and to answer  your question, try it to see how you react to it.  At the least, take before bedtime, and you will have glorious sound sleep.  Cousin takes in on her way to work, so doubt it effects her mental clarity.  Perhaps it, like many drugs, depends on your level of pain to begin with... as morphine after an operation... taking in those doses for such immense pain would kill the average person just lolling around in their living room... you will find what works for you, and also, cousin buys by mail order.  Even Walmart has it.  Who knew...

Thanks, Dianna.  Did your cousin say anything about feeling like her emotions were shut down?

Two people I know use this.  One, my attorney cousin who had brain surgery and was left with a horrible tingling pain in her mouth preventing her from even eating.  I did suggest CBD to her, and she got gummies since they are the easiest thing for her to eat.

Then, another friend had such back pain, multiple surgeries and no pain killer worked any way, stopped into the local hemp shop... can't imagine her doing that, but she did... and they started her on the oil, and also a vape.  She was at the point of not wanting to live.  For the first time in her life, I have known her for three years now, she sounds like a normal, happy person.  She was really in a bad way.  Now, she can walk without pain, though using a walker, but still can get around.

So, yes, at least try some.  When I have a few extra sheckles I a m going to try the gummies because I do not like the taste of the oil.  And, that's your report of the day.  Happy Easter!

  • Information the difference between Hemp and Marijuana.  Hemp has literally no THC which is concentrated much higher in Marijuana plants.  Both plants are in the same family and from both plants you can make Cannabis oil...

  • I ordered two 1 ounce spray bottles for my parents.  I bought the small amount just to see if it will help them...

  • After just talking about how the CBD oil deadens my friend's emotions, this article showed up in my email today...

And, correlate this with the information about organ transplants hindering ascension, is it any wonder we are not going to be seeing many people ascending?

More research I've done has me convinced that "ascension chambers" is not true, ascension is a process that has to be gone through, there are no short cuts.

  • Dianna do you need a prescription for the gummies?  I need to get some to my parents some how..  My mother is in severe back pain due to severe scoliosis and my father has issues with neck pain.

  • We're all waiting for the med beds.  And, your situation is different from mine, so I'm just going to have to give it a try and see what it does for me.

My problem was the lack of blood going to my leg which stopped me from moving my left leg. They put three stents in my left leg and I was able to walk a distance and go up inclines again, until recently one or all are closed up, I don't know. I don't want to go through more tests with radiation or contrast and destroy my kidneys anymore than they have been already. The contrast is deadly. In your case You may get more relief than me because I just needed blood to get to my muscles to make them work without pain The CBD was good as long as I did not go too far. I wish I had never herd of vegetable oil. Now I wait for the Med-Beds.

That's my issue... any activity flares the fibro pain.  I was hoping the CBD oil would allow me to at least walk for exercise, but if not, hopefully I can at least use the therabands.

    Byron wilkins said:

I would take more CBD when I felt the pain coming back many hours later. If I limited my activity the pain was minimal.I was able to feel where the pain was coming from but it did not hurt when I took CBD. It began hurting if I had not taken it for a while if I became active.

    Cheryl Nelson said:

So, when you say "you can feel the pain area but it did not hurt," are you saying that the pain is still there, but is being blocked by the CBD?  In other words, stop taking the CBD and the pain will flare?

    Byron wilkins said:

I had a stent put in my heart and they went through my groin but left a plug in my artery which shut off the blood flow to my right leg and it was like an ice pick was being stuck in my calf. I had CBD oil and the pain almost all went away when I used it twice a day about three drops each time, I could feel the pain area but it did not hurt. I have a strange reaction to pot also, my blood sugar level drops and I can pass out from smoking it.

Jim Tramadol is very addictive and the nurse told me sternly do not take this prescription unless the pain is unbearable.
