I googled the words 'dreams and visions' to see what all is out there - a couple results:

How come the only thing I dream about these days is family?

I am not too sure. I heard that if you ask for something, you have to do it for 21 consecutive evenings. Yes we are running out of time here. Her dream came to her because she is protected by her husband. My mom and aunts are there because they love her very much and they also need to repay karmic debt. The only thing to do will certainly be to ask your guide to help you.

what does one have to do to have prophetic dreams? ask for them? or, are they only for those 'in tune' souls?

It is strange that you would post these links. My sister had one last Monday. She saw our decease mother, her husband and two of our aunts. They started to show her fireballs striking the night sky. As these fireballs came closer, They were lighting up the ground. She described the loud bang that accompanied the fireballs when they hit the ground. That scene was so vivid, that she could still hear the bang while being fully awake. A lot of people will have prophetic dreams as time advance.
