Never heard of this one...
...Patchy Dense Freezing Fog to Hamper Travel through Daybreak... Moist ground and a lower-level atmosphere and temperatures in the upper teens to lower 20s have combined to produce areas of patchy dense freezing fog. The fog will be most prevalent in valleys and near rivers or other bodies of water. Given temperatures well below freezing, the freezing fog or freezing mist can deposit rime ice or frost like ice on exposed objects, resulting in slippery surfaces where this occurs, such as roads, bridges, overpasses, and sidewalks. Be alert for slick surfaces when traveling through areas of dense fog. With temperatures well below freezing, mostly mid 20s, expect any moisture you see on roads or sidewalks to be ice and thus treacherous. Reduce speed and allow extra time to reach your destination. Conditions are expected to improve after 9 AM EST.

I know. It takes a lot of muscle power to freeze those positions.

Telephone lineman, then moved up to Midnight rover Central office Tech thats how I ended up in the Boot heel of MO. cause the problem came on while I was on duty in the St.Louis region. I was sent down with a Generator so to help keep things going then stayed running at night keeping the Gens filled and working was a full time job! Got lots of OT!
Me, too.

I had to go to the Boot heel of MO. back when a Ice storm hit there, it took the Transport power lines down, & every night I drove to every small Central Office that I was assigned to visit!
The Freezing fog would collect on the truck as growing ice needed to be cleaned off at lease twice overnight! had to drive slow could not see far ahead!
Be careful!
