    He brings up another point: 

    To put that in perspective, in January of 2019 alone 608,000 people caught regular influenza in China. Meanwhile, in the U.S., 80,000 people died of influenza in 2018. So, how come there was no panic media coverage over these much larger pandemics?

    I haven't seen any race statistics and I've been looking.  They aren't showing anything but total deaths, not by gender, not by race.
