Georgia man fined for growing vegetables....

I know this doesn't have much to do with earth changes, but I had to post this.  This is ridiculous!  More zoning bs to infringe on the right's of citizens to grow their own food.

"Steve Miller (not Steve Miller of classic rock fame), has had an organic vegetable garden on his property for years. He grows food for himself and has even sold some of his bounty at local farmers markets.

He received his first citation from code enforcement back in January and has since incurred $5000 in fines. The tricky thing here is that after citations in January and February, Miller got his property rezoned to allow his garden. The county is still suing him for the fines related to the earlier charges."

  • We the people don't have any rights any more. They want to control everything.

My mother had 5 acres in Sonoma county. She wanted to subdivide it to allow my brother to build a home.
Every year part of her property floods. Not all years. The county told her no because she had wet lands.
    She sold the property.
Now I understand a corporate developer bought that property and others and is developing it for commercial use.
Apparently enviromental laws only apply to citizens. Corporations can do what they want. The Supreme Court says so.
  • Of course in their eyes it would also be helpful if people are discouraged from learning gardening skills as this is what will be needed once px goes through.

Do you know how many states have made this rain water catchment illegal so far? What is the (insane) reasoning behind this?
  • It does relate...a number of states are now making it illegal to have rainwater catchment. And growing your own food is now coming under attack. This really smells of population control, as in we don't want too many people left alive by the time Planet X becomes visible.
