  • Greece is learning an important lesson here that fiat currency is really not the answer to your problems. Everyone has a skill and it can be traded for skills of other people like trading with a auto mechanic for fixing his plumbing  If somebody needs your skill and they need something in return a deal can be reached if you ask or put a note on a bulletin board. Barter goes much farther than trading apples for potato's. I expect the economy to collapse at least partially so get ready for what Greece is going through.  Not every thing can be solved by bartering but many can.    

  • I see nothing wrong with bartering as long as the employee is able to live comfortably.

  • Man always finds a way to survive. I bet the loan from the IMF gets paid.
