  • Possibly.  I'll keep that in mind as I reflect more on this saying.  I'm thinking it might be related to consciousness, but nothing conclusive yet.

Genetic engineering was part of what brought judgment down on Atlantis.  I sense the Thomas saying is metaphorical, but a metaphor for what?

  • To reinforce this argument note that angels have wings. This is because God is part eagle in his brain. Also note the winged creatures around the throne of God (Book of Revelation, Chapter 4). It is all genetic engineering!

  • The part of the brain that comes from the Lion, Bull and Eagle is the part of the brain that solves problems. It is the revealer Specifically it uses the mechanism of analogy rather than mathematics to solve problems. It is part of the brain that produces theories.

  • Thank you for asking me this interesting question.

I am familiar with this verse: The Gospel of Thomas (7)"Yeshua said, Blessings on the lion if a human eats it, making the lion human. Foul is the human if a lion eats it, making the lion human."

I have it explained in one of my postings before:

    https://earthchanges.ning.com/group/christianitycatholic/forum/topic...

When we eat food we use it to rebuild our body, including our DNA, and not just as an energy source. If a human eats a lion the human will rebuild his/her body with the chemicals(amino acids, proteins, DNA, sugars) from the lion. Everything is fluxional. Thus the human will become part lion from this point of view(making the Lion Human). This is an analogy for combining the DNA of a lion with human DNA. Such a creature is blessed in the eyes of God. It is a form of metamorphosis.  To be exact it is an analogy for genetic engineering. Man does not routinely eat lions so using this concept implies a deeper meaning. It symbolises that God has the DNA of a lion.

The DNA of the lion increases the ability of man to think by analogy. It is an improvement on mans ability to think via analogy.

It is a tragedy when a lion eats a human. The Lion's molecules are replaced by the human molecules. It is food. The Lion becomes part human. This serves no scientific advancement. Where as having the DNA of a Lion serves as a scientific advancement.

This is who god is, part of the DNA of the human brain was replaced by the DNA of the Lion using genetic engineering. Specifically it is the part of the brain that thinks by analogy. This verse from Thomas doesn't explain that the analogy part of the brain is changed, it is explained in other verses in the religious books.

This is reinforced in the Gospel of Philip where God is described as a ''man eater'' because lions are man eaters.

"God is a man-eater." Gospel of Philip

Note also that Ireland is shaped like a Lion.

In summary when we humans eat animals our molecules are rebuilt by their(animals) molecules including our DNA. This is similar to(analogous to) genetic engineering(science). It refers to the important of the genetic engineering of humans with animals especially Lions. This is the DNA of God. This engineering is referred to in many places in the bible. For example the curtain in the Tent of Meeting in the time of Moses had a picture of a lion.

This verse is meant for a time when man has knowledge of DNA and genetic engineering and the role of food in our bodies.

God also has the DNA of the bull and eagle. It codes for the part of the brain that thinks by analogy(not mathematical) also. It is this brain of God that solved time travel for example. Man cannot do this.

God is a scientist, genetically engineered. He is an orphan. This is why He has a special love for orphans.

    I hope that explains it!
