March to support Value charter

it appear that the province of Quebec in Canada wants to move away from religion. They feel a need stop the religious domination with its habit of dividing gender and female domination.

This movement has started about one month ago. If you look back at Quebec history, you will notice that this movement has its roots in the past. The Roman Catholic religion, for the longest time, controlled the whole population. Quebec has gone through the same oppression has Ireland.

There is still a lot of wound that have not healed and any reminder is bound to create strong reaction. It is also a way to show that the Divine Feminine is slowly coming back and pushing religions aside.

  • On this you are right. Quebec has a minority government at the moment. This means that before the Charter can become law, the other political party must vote in favor. This is not done yet. Also Marois is there for her own glory. She only want a majority government and her place in history.

  • Okay, just the attire for public servants.  I still get a weird feeling about this for some reason like there is another hidden agenda that will come out eventually.

  • No kim it is not to get rid of religious believes, It is more in line with the wish of the government and the population that public servants should not display religious attire. Quebec has been under religious domination in the past. Unfortunately, this has made a good segment of the population very uncomfortable with religious symbols and attire.

  • That is good to get rid of domination.  However, watch out, the governments want God (whether male/female or both) out of the picture completely.  And what way to do this by starting to get rid of religious beliefs.  I hope this isn't what it appears to be, as in an agenda behind all of this.

  • I think Kevin Annett has furthered their support with the crimes of the church in Canada and being covered up by the state.

  • Yes Byron.

What the Marois Government is trying to do is a non-religious state. All government employee whom are serving the public will not be allowed to wear any clothing identifying their religion. I am not sure when this law will be voted, but as you can see, it has gathered a lot of interest.

  •  That is quite a surprise and a good one.
