I was trying to remember The name of a book co written by Art Bell and Whitley Strieber. it is called " The Coming Global SuperStorm". I have read the book a little while ago. "The Day After Tomorrow" does use some hypothesis discussed in the book. Although the book was published in 2000, its content is still currant.

Yes It is quite evident that the weather is changing. Every year, we break records. The scenario found in the movie is now becoming quite credible.
