I found the truth about Pauline Christianity (which is what main stream religion (MSR) is based on) by stepping outside of Christianity to see what other viewpoints were. I too had training in deception (as in don't read anything not approved by the church). And, yes, I have found truth in some of Bill's posts, too. :-) And, yes, some things I'm not sure of, but that's part of the process... continuing to search until you can say with certainty if something is or isn't true. And, my truth might not be his truth. We all come from different backgrounds. I could eventually judge something not true, because I lack certain insights that he has (and I speak to all of us here, not just me and Bill). Or vice versa.

If I really wanted a deception overload I would read the channeled messages they are nice messages but I can't verify anything, I think Keith and I have about the same feeling about them. I don't want to say anything that would upset Bill. I think that the dems are going to start spreading more false rumors and it will confuse a lot of people and also continue to make fools out of themselves.

Cameron Day, a year or two back, came out with similar feelings. There truly is nothing we can trust, except our own higher selves. Even those who channel their own HS (like Mike Quinsey) are still subject to incorrect interpretations and possible (unseen or even unknown agendas--remember Greg Giles?), so I don't even follow those.
Marilyn at onenessofall.com has always come across as genuine. She does ask for donations, quietly, but doesn't promote products (that I've ever seen).
I became skeptical of galacticconnection.com. There is such a heavy push to sell oil blends now (in the daily emails), positioned at the top so you have to scroll through them to get to the news, that it became a turn off. Then when she started channeling Father God, I said ENOUGH. See the correlation... if she channels Father God, then her oil blends must be heaven-scent. Whether she's conscious of this or not, I can't say, but it is a slippery slope to combine business with spirituality. It creates the perception of spiritual elitism, when the truth is we are all chips off the god-block. If "God" wants me to know something, he'll tell me.
Okay, you get the picture. Treat everything with an open mind, but shelve it with the label "unverified." Meditation will help clear your mind and has been scientifically proven to improve health. Fifteen minutes a day. AND, check in with your own HS and ask (or feel) if something rings true or not.
