I've seen this in several places. First, Air Force 1 was busy taking Trump to Florida. Second, could he legitimately take AF1 since he wasn't sworn in yet? What have other in-coming presidents done? Third, he's so paranoid, he probably wanted to keep a low profile.

I have heard several narratives in which it is described that two parallel governments are operating side by side right now, the corrupt corporate leadership of the corporate US, and the leadership of the constitutional US republic. There is a lot about how that is even possible that I don't understand, but many other stories start to make sense in light of this possibility.
