This "Trump is fighting for his political life" doesn't make sense. He's achieved many of his campaign promises. I don't see his base dissolving because he's been a failure.
Remember, should Trump fail, the military is going to finish the job. They chose Trump to try to do it the legal way.
And, the alleged bragging of Schumosi just shows the power trips these people are on. They may get away with something horrible, but the American people will demand justice, or carry out justice Wild West style, should it become necessary.
I think this is what we are all expecting. Though, I suspect, there will be surprises. I think he has done a good job of setting himself up as reasonable, which makes the Dem leaders look bad. I do feel like it should come to a head within the next few weeks to a month, otherwise, Trump's ratings might go down, and if he doesn't build the wall, he is going to lose voters. But, more than that, the corrupt ones absolutely have to be reined in and brought to justice, else, it will just creep back in once he's out of office.
