Here is a couple thoughts I just came up with. Wondering why someone much smarter than me has not asked this question already.
If we have known for some time that something major was going to happen to the Earth or more so the people of Earth, why as a human race has no one started creating space arks. Self contained colonies.the writing on the wall seems to be more and more clearer each day. The population growth alone should have brought up this idea. We have all types of TV shows about the topic but no one has thought about it being reality. Is there a life form or life forms keeping us from colonizing space. Is there a bunch of reasons that i am not seeing? am i being completely crazy. thoughts that came to me as i was washing dishes.

It's interesting that I too have found washing dishes and taking baths opens the imagination. What is it about warm water?
As for your questions, I can think of some possible reasons. (1) the NWO wants to depopulate Earth. (2) since NASA can't talk about it, and being the one agency who could build space arks, it wouldn't do it because of (1).
However, there are many reports that there are "space arks" (or biospheres or mother ships or similar things by other names) that are capable of supporting large rescue efforts that are already in place.
I have heard we were not ready to colonize space in our current condition (self-centeredness, greed, violence, etc.) and some of our efforts have been blocked.
So, no, you're not crazy, but it is a complicated situation.
